Overview
Indonesia is the world's fourth-largest coffee producer and one of the last places still practicing the wet-hulling method that gives Sumatran coffee its signature earthy, full body. We work directly with smallholder cooperatives across Aceh, Flores, and Toraja, and with single-origin cacao farmers in Sulawesi, offering full traceability from farm block to export container for roasters and chocolatiers who need to know exactly where their beans came from.
What's Included
Wet-hulled Arabica from Aceh — earthy, full-bodied, low acidity, with a syrupy finish.
Volcanic-soil Arabica from Flores — brighter, cleaner acidity than typical Sumatran lots.
Full-bodied Arabica increasingly competitive with West African premium origins.
Bold, full-bodied Robusta for blends and instant coffee manufacturing.
Bean-to-bar quality cacao at container scale from West and Central Sulawesi.
FAQ
Both are wet-hulled Arabica with a full, earthy body, but Sumatra Mandheling has a heavier, syrupy mouthfeel with low acidity, while Toraja from South Sulawesi has sharpened fermentation practices over the past decade that give it a comparatively cleaner cup with a distinctive herbal note — increasingly competitive with West African premium origins on quality.
Yes — Sulawesi single-origin cacao and any of our five coffee origins can be consolidated into one FCL or LCL shipment, since both categories ship in similar jute/GrainPro bag formats. This is common for buyers who want to test multiple origins or products in one order before committing to volume on a single line.
Both. Our wet-hulled Arabica lots (Sumatra, Toraja, Flores) suit filter and pour-over brewing where their earthy, full body shines, while Lampung Robusta is specifically sourced for blend components, instant coffee manufacturing, and espresso blends that need body and crema — buyers should specify which application when requesting samples so we match the right lot.
