Overview

Kotagede has been Java's silverwork center since the Mataram Sultanate era, and its filigree technique — twisting fine silver wire into intricate lattice patterns — remains almost entirely hand-executed. We work with workshops producing both traditional filigree jewelry and contemporary silver homeware for import buyers who need insured, itemized export shipping for higher-value pieces.
