Lidi — the dried midrib of the coconut palm leaf — has been the raw material for Indonesia's traditional woven besom brooms (sapu lidi) for generations, and demand now extends into natural-fiber craft and eco-friendly household goods. We supply bundled, moisture-controlled lidi sorted by length and flexibility grade, sourced from the same coconut-growing regions that supply our other coconut products.

Broom-grade lidi is sorted for length and flexibility suited to traditional sapu lidi (woven besom brooms) — the sticks need to hold together in a bundle without snapping. Craft-grade lidi is sorted differently, favoring uniformity and appearance over pure flexibility, for buyers making natural-fiber decor and household goods rather than functional brooms.
Lidi is moisture-controlled before bundling — dried to a low moisture content and packed in ventilated bundles rather than sealed plastic, which would trap residual humidity. Buyers in humid destination climates should still confirm container ventilation and avoid stacking bundles against a container wall exposed to temperature swings.
500 kg per grade is our standard minimum order, which suits both LCL buyers testing the material and larger craft or broom manufacturers consolidating into a fuller shipment.
